Digital Dubai

Digital Dubai wanted a large pavilion that reflected its vision for the future of Dubai through a modern, sustainable and urban inspired environment.

The pavilion needed to accommodate many partner entities while remaining open, connected and clearly recognisable as Digital Dubai.

The urban theme was translated into the architecture through a shared language of form, materials, colour and lighting.

I joined the team to redesign the participant pods after earlier options were not approved. Following a client meeting, I developed a new pod system that aligned with the overall pavilion concept.

The client approved the new direction, allowing the team to move confidently into design development and production.
